Linux boot menu editing

Linux boot menu editing
When we open the system having windows os and Linux os ,most cases Linux opens first (first priority goes to Linux) now we can easily change the  priority to windows through editing the grub file of Linux . for this do the following simple steps

1. Log on as "root"
2. cd /boot/grub; save a backup of your current "menu.lst"
(you can restore it back when a mistake occur)
3. Edit menu.lst. Verify you have a section for Linux, and a section for Windows.
4. Move the Windows section to the top.
(Do very carefully )
5. Reboot. Windows should be the first option.
6. Windows should boot automatically.
Now you can see your  windows version is loading in the  boot menu first
